Cable routing
Observe the following when rout-
ing cable from power sockets to
additional devices:
Driver must not be impaired by
cable.
Steering angle and handling
characteristics must not be re-
stricted.
Do not kink or pinch cable.

Luggage

Securing luggage on
motorcycle
Overloading and imbal-
anced loads can adversely
affect the motorcycle's handling.
Do not exceed the gross weight
limit and observe the loading
information.
Secure luggage (e.g. rear bag)
on lashing eyes 1.

gage systems and their fastening

Passenger frame

Removing passenger
frame
Paintwork can be scratched
and/or damaged.
Use suitable surface or tape off
endangered area.
The installation of an addi-
tional OA (muffler bracket)
is essential for removing the pas-
senger frame.
Detailed information can be

BMW Motorrad retailer or online
at www.bmw-motorrad.com.
Also observe the general infor-
mation at the beginning of this
