Adjusting handbrake lever
Changing the position of
the brake-fluid reservoir can
allow air to penetrate the brake
system.
Do not reposition the handlebar
z
controls on the handlebars or the
handlebars in their mounts.
Adjusting the handbrake
lever while driving can lead
to accidents.
Only adjust the handbrake
lever when the motorcycle is
stationary.
Turn adjusting screw 1 into
desired position.
The adjusting screw can
be turned more easily if
you press the handbrake lever
forward when doing so.
4 settings are possible:
Position 1: shortest distance
between handlebar grip and
brake lever.
Position 4: greatest distance
between handlebar grip and
brake lever.

Heated handlebar grips

with heated grips

Operating heated grips
The heated grips option
can only be activated when
the engine is running.
The increase in power con-
sumption caused by the
heated grips can drain the bat-
tery if you are riding at low en-
gine speeds. If the battery is in-
adequately charged, the heated
grips are switched off to ensure
starting capability.
