9. Install:
-Spark plug
Spark plug:
18Nm (1.8m· kg, 13ft· Ib)
Refer to the "SPARK PLUG INSPEC-
TIO N" section.
10. Connect:
-Spark plug cap
11. Install:
- Fuel tank
-Cover
-Air scoops
- Side covers
-Seat
Bolt (seat):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft . Ib)
ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION
Do not add any chemical additives. Engine
oil also lubricates the clutch and additives
could cause clutch slippage.
AWARNING
Never remove the oil tank cap just after high
speed operation. The heated oil could spurt
out, causing danger. Wait until the oil cools
down to approximately 60°C (140°F).
1 . Place the motorcycle on a level place .
2. Remove:
- Cover (fuel tank)
Refer to the "SEAT, FUEL TANK AND
COVER" section.
3 . Remove :
- Oil tank cap
