Removal

Disassembly
1. Remove:
-Circlip

Remove:
-Bolts
CD
-Shim
®
-Washer
®
-Shim

-Brush
®
-Armature
®
-Yoke

Inspection and Repair
1. Inspect:
- Commutator
Dirty
->
Clean it with #600 grit sand-
paper .
2. Measure:
- Commutator diameter
Out of specification
->
Replace starter
motor .
Commutator wear limit
@:
27 mm (1.06 in)
