13.5.9 Checking the boiler
> Commission the boiler in accordance with the relevant
operating instructions.
13.14 Leak-tightness test
> Purge the heating installation using check programme
P.0 (¬ section 11.4).
> Check the boiler for gas and water tightness.
> If necessary, refill and purge the heating installation
again.
> Check the ignition and that the flame on the burner is
burning evenly.
> Attach the front casing of the boiler (¬ section 4.6).
> Check the flue pipe for correct seating.
> Check the flue pipe for leak-tightness.
> Check the function of the heating (¬ section 11.5.2).
> Record the inspection/maintenance work carried out in
the system book that you leave with the unit's documen-
tation.

14 Troubleshooting

14.1

Contacting Vaillant customer service

> If you contact your Vaillant Customer Service or Vaillant
Service partner, then please provide, where possible,
– the fault code that is displayed (F.xx),
– the unit status (S xx) that is displayed in the "Live
monitor" (¬ section 14.2.1).
14.2

Performing diagnostics

You can use the function menu to control and test individ-
ual components of the boiler in the fault diagnostics.
