Heat sink

The heat sink is secured with four captive Torx screws.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the top cover
3.
Remove the fan
4.
In the order indicated on the heat sink, loosen the three captive Torx screws, and then lift the heat sink
out of the computer.
CAUTION:

When replacing the heat sink, be sure to install thermal pads as shown in the following image:
