F3 Enter Zone - This function moves the cursor to the field labeled "Zone." If you have
zone display names, you may enter them here. Use the UP/DN arrow keys to move to
the zone you want to name, and type in the zone name. This field is also used to
add/delete and copy zones -- to return to normal zone data entry, press RETURN at any
time. The function keys are described as follows:
F6 Delete Zone - In order to delete a zone, the programmer will first prompt you
with a statement to be sure you want to delete the present zone. Press 'y' for
yes and 'n' for no.
F7 Insert Zone - This function key allows you to insert a new zone. You may
continue to modify any of the remaining entries by pressing ENTER.
F8 Copy Zone - This copy function copies all the data from the marked zone to a
new zone that will be inserted after the current zone. All entries may still be
modified.
F9 Mark Zone - This function places an asterisk (*) by the current zone. The
basic use for this function allows you to insert a new zone and copy all data
quickly and efficiently from the marked zone. Pressing F9 again will remove
the asterisk, as this function acts as a toggle to enable/disable the marked
zone.
Note: In order to copy information from one zone to numerous other zones,
first mark the zone with all the proper data, press the copy zone key.
F4 Wide View - This function allows you to view all channels previously defined. By
pressing F4, another screen display will come up listing all zones/channels with their
attributes or channel information. See Figure 28 for the Wide View screen.
