Maintenance and Care

The following maintenance intervals apply in normal operating conditions. The spec-
ified intervals must be shortened accordingly when working for longer than normal
or under difficult cutting conditions (extensive dust, etc.).
Always set the locking lever to

on the machine.
Complete machine
Control handles (locking lever, trigger
switch lockout and trigger switch)
Intake port for cooling air
All accessible screws, nuts and bolts
Battery
Battery compartment
Cutting blades
Gearbox and con-rod
Safety information labels

Afterwards spray the blades with STIHL resin solvent

STIHL recommends STIHL servicing dealers

and remove the battery before starting any work
