Engine Oil
Engine oi l consumption var ies and oil quality
deteriorates accord ing to riding conditions and
time elapsed.
Check the engine oi l level regularly, and add t he
recommended engine oil if necessa ry. Dirty oi l
or old oil shou ld be changed as soon as
possible.

The JASO T 903 standard is an index for engine
oi ls for 4-stroke motorcycle engines. Th ere are
two classes: MA and MB. For example, the
following label shows the MA classification.

The API classifi cation specifies the quality and
performance rating of engine oi ls. Use SG or
higher oils, excluding oi ls marked as "Energy
Conserving " or "Resource Conserving" on the
