Customizing Camera Operation

Customize shooting functions on the [
] tab of the menu screen as
follows.
For instructions on menu functions, see "Using the Menu Screen"
( = 32).

Deactivating the Red-Eye Reduction Lamp

You can deactivate the red-eye reduction lamp that lights up to reduce
red-eye when the flash is used in low-light shots.

Access the [Flash Control] screen.
Press the [
Control] on the [
the [ ] button ( = 32).

Configure the setting.
Choose [Red-eye reduc.], and then
choose [Off] ( = 32).
To restore the original setting, repeat this
process but choose [On].

Changing the Image Display Period after Shots

Still Images
Movies
2 sec., 4 sec.,
8 sec.
Hold
Off
] button, choose [Flash
3] tab, and then press
Still Images
Press the [
] button, choose
[Image review] on the [
choose the desired option.
To restore the original setting, repeat this
process but choose [2 sec.].
Displays images for the specified time. Even while
the shot is displayed, you can take another shot by
pressing the shutter button halfway again.
Displays images until you press the shutter button
halfway.
No image display after shots.
By pressing the [
] button while an image is displayed after
shooting, you can switch the display information.
