3) Remove the paint roll by pressing the catch on the roller frame.
4) Hold the paint roll with a cloth and press the cover cap down, in order to remove it
(Fig. 6). Pull the inner roll out of the paint roll.
5) Clean all parts of the paint roll in lukewarm water.
6) Hold the quick-clean adapter at the fluted union nut. Turn the cover anticlockwise
and pull it out (Fig. 7).
7) Screw the thread of the cleaning adapter into the quick-clean adapter and attach the
other end of the cleaning adapter to a water tap (Fig. 8).
8) Put the end of the suction line and the roller frame into a container (Fig. 9).
9) Set the function switch to "Clean" (Fig. 5) and slowly open the water tap. Switch the
device off again as soon as only clear water emerges from the suction line and the
roller frame.
10) Remove the roller frame and the extension from the handle. Clean these three parts
thoroughly with a suitable cleaning agent and an old toothbrush. Especially the areas
marked in Fig. 10 must be completely freed of paint and lubricated, in order to guarantee
perfect functioning. Do not immerse the handle in water during cleaning.
11) Also wipe the other parts of the device clean if necessary.
Storage
Apply a thin coat of sliding grease at the marked points for preservation. (Fig. 11)
