tap method

This is the standard method for entering text
on your phone.
Regular Tap method cycles through the letters
and numbers of the key you press. The Tap

Extended method cycles through letters,
numbers, and symbols.
1 Press a keypad key one or more times to
select a letter, number, or symbol.
2 Enter the remaining characters.
Tip: Press S right or * to insert a space.
When you enter text with the Tap or Tap Extended
method, the soft key functions change.
