method:
W = numeric method [ = symbol method

Using Tap Method

This is the standard method for entering text on your
phone.
Tap method cycles through the letters and number of the
key you press.
Press
1 a keypad key 1
or more times
2 keypad keys
3 OK key
In a text entry screen, you can press # to switch entry
modes. If Tap is not available as the entry method, see
page 39.
