USING KONFTEL 55WX AS A LOUDSPEAKER FOR PLAYING
MUSIC
Most mobile phones and computers support two ways for transmitting audio via Bluetooth.
One is two-way and optimised for speech while the other (A2DP – advanced audio distri-
bution profile) has higher audio bandwidth, is one-way and optimised for music.
 A mobile phone or computer that handles A2DP, as a rule, also supports something
called AVRCP (audio/video remote control profile), which means the telephone can
transmit playback information. Please note that, if your unit does not support AVRCP,
you can still play music on the Konftel 55Wx, but the music mode is not displayed.
Normally, both the call and the music channels are activated when the units are
connected. When a mobile phone or computer transmits audio, where the source is a
music app, the music mode on the Konftel 55Wx is activated automatically. When a
mobile phone or computer transmits audio from a communication app, the call mode is
activated automatically.
You can also switch between the modes on the Konftel 55Wx using the button
 Please note that, there may be some delay before the music source switches off the
streaming music in the music mode.
The Konftel 55Wx switches immediately to the call mode, but the button
until the music has silenced and other active sources are shown during the time they
are in the hold mode

Music mode
In the music mode, the artist, album and title of the piece of music are displayed, providing
the Konftel 55Wx obtains this information from the source. There are also buttons for to
play/pause the music and jump forwards and backwards in the source's play list.
