Phone Modem

Use your phone as an external modem for another device
by using an infrared or USB connection. Download the
USB driver to your C: drive from the Motorola MPx220
companion CD. Your computer should automatically
add the Motorola MPx220 as a new modem device.
Description
On a Bluetooth device, you can
configure a partnership with your
phone:
Start > Settings > Bluetooth > under
Bluetooth
, press
select Discoverable (the Bluetooth
radio turns on and makes your
phone discoverable for 3 minutes) >
on the Bluetooth device, select your
phone and attempt to pair with it >
enter the same PIN both on your
Bluetooth device and on your phone
to create the partnership.
Tip: The partnership is created. Your
phone can now be used as a data
modem. The phone automatically
becomes a data modem over
Bluetooth if a paired device
attempts to connect to it.
