Using Your Phone As A Modem

With Nextel Online Dial-up Services, you can use your i700plus as a modem for
your IBM™ PC-compatible laptop computer (using Microsoft® Windows) and
Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) such as Palm Pilots and Win CE compatible
handheld computers. This is particularly useful when there is no wired phone
line (wall jack) available.
From practically anywhere, you can connect to your company's network or the
Internet--as long as you have your i700plus and you are in a Nextel coverage
area (for coverage area information, visit us at www.nextel.com. Select "Digital
Coverage". Then select "Click for Nextel Coverage Map".
With this service, simply connect the data cable (sold separately) to your
computer and to the i700plus phone. This will allow you to send or receive
time-critical information such as e-mails, field service reports, or files.
To take advantage of this feature, you must subscribe to Nextel
