To select the external component to use
- EXT INPUT
You can connect
the external
component

CD changer
jack
on the rear using
the Line Input
Adaptor
KS-U57
(not supplied)
To use the external
component
as the playback
source
through
this unit, you need to select
which
component

or external

as the external

Controlling the volume
automaticallv (Audio Cruise)
You can select
the proper
cruise
mode
for your
car
This unit changes
the volume
level automatically
(at 3 possible
levels)
based
on the driving
speed
of your car by detecting
the alternator's
generating
frequency
(Audio
Cruise)
If you want to use this mode,
follow the
procedure
below
When
shipped
from the factory,
this mode
is set to "CRUISE
OFF"

relatively
quiet

this if your car is
relatively
loud
The volume
increase
rate is
twice
as much
as that of the
CRUISE
1 setting

more than 2 seconds so that one of
the PSM items appears on the
display. (See page 18.)
Select "CRUISE MODE."
Select the desired setting.
As you turn the control
dial, the Audio
