Selecting a track directly

See the illustrations in the Japanese text
(page 21).
You can select the desired track directly by
using the vertical jog dial.

Rotate the jog dial until the disired
track appears in the display window
then press the jog dial.
The selected track name
display, and the recorder starts playing
when you press the jog dial.
* If the track has no name, track
number appears in the display.

Playing tracks repeatedly

See the illustrations in the Japanese text
(page 21).
Press MODE (PLAY MODE on the remote
control) while the recorder is playing an
MD.
Each time you press MODE (PLAY MODE
on the remote control), the play mode
indication changes as follows:
(none) (normal play)
All the tracks are played once.
.
"f" (all repeat)
All the tracks are played
repeatedly.
.
"f 1 " (single repeat)
A single track is played
repeatedly.
.
"f SHUF " (shuffle repeat)
All the tracks are played
repeatedly in random order.

Connecting to a stereo system

Connect the LINE OUT jack of the recorder
to the line in jacks of an amplifier or a tape
player with a line cable (not supplied).
The output is analog. The recorder plays
the MD digitally and sends analog signals
to the connected equipment.
Using in a car
See the illustration in Japanese text (page
24).
You can listen to MDs with your car stereo
system using the following equipment (not
supplied).
Car Mount Kit CPM-MZ6VK
(contents: Car mount unit, Car connecting
pack, Car battery cord, etc.)
Refer to the operating manual of the
equipment for details.
Note
Do not put the recorder on a dashboard or
leave it in a car parked in direct sunlight since
the temperature may rise excessively.
