Applications

Managing applications
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Manage applications >
Downloaded.
2. Tap an application and tap Force stop if you want to force
the application to stop. Tap Uninstall if you want to uninstall
the application.
3. Tap Running on the top of the screen and tap an
application to manage its operation.
Viewing running services and applications
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Running services.
2. Tap a service or an application to stop its operation or to
edit its options.
3. Tap Stop if you want to stop its operation.
Note It is recommended that the user only stops the applications
user downloaded.
Checking the storage usage
1. Tap Settings > Applications.
2. Tap Storage use to view a list of all applications on your
phone with information about the storage they use.
3. Tap Force stop to force an application to stop, or tap Clear
data to delete all the application's data permanently.
Checking the Battery usage
1. Tap Settings > Applications.
2. Tap Battery use to open a list of the applications that have
used battery power since you last charged your phone.
Note See Adjust power use for information on how to reduce the
battery use for application.
Debugging USB
The Debug mode disables drivers and allows the user to fix
minor or major problems caused by the firmware.
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Development.
2. Tap USB debugging to allow the debug mode when the
USB cable is connected.
3. Read and tap OK on the USB debugging information page.

Allowing mock locations

1. Tap Settings > Applications > Development.
2. Tap Allow mock locations to pretend to be in another
location for development purposes.
Allowing installation of unknown applications
1. Tap Settings > Applications.
2. Tap Unknown sources to allow non-market applications to
be installed on the phone.
Note Install applications only from trusted sources. Installing
applications from unknown sources may introduce harmful virus,
malware or expose phone and personal information to outside
sources.
