to the TV. Some examples
of stationary
images
are:
• stock-market
reports
• station
logos (especially
bright
ones)
• video game displays
• shopping
channel
displays
• the television's
own on-screen
displays

If you plan to place speakers
next to the qTg, make sure they are
magnetically
shielded.
Ordinary
speakers
will cause distortion
in
the picture
due to their strong
magnets.
This distortion,
how-
ever, will not harm
the picture
tubes.

Cleaning
Normally,
light dusting
with a non-scratching
duster
will keep
your TV clean.
If you want to wipe down your TV, turn
it offand
unplug
it.
Then, wipe it gently with a soft cloth slightly
moistened
with
water.
You can add a few drops of mild liquid detergent
to the
water for oily dirt.

DO NOT use strong
or abrasive
