2 Assembly

2.1 Changing the backrest tubes

A
Release the knob A and remove the push handles / push bar B.
2.
Release the safety shackle C and carefully remove the safety
pin from the attachment.
3.
Loosen and remove the screw washer and nut D from the
backrest attachment.
When re-mounting the backrest (see instructions
below), a new screw must be used, the old one must
be scrapped.
4.
Loosen the four screws for the backrest tubes D and turn the
attachments E in order to release the backrest tube F.
Do not remove the screws.

5.
Mount the attachments for the MatrX backrest G and tighten
the screws H.
Tools: 5 mm Allen key
6.
Mount the backrest tubes I on the attachment knobs J on
the backrest.
Start with the lower attachment.
7.
Re-mount the backrest on the wheelchair, replace the screw and
tighten the screw, washer and nut K (9 Nm).
