2.14 Mounting the drum brake

2.14.1 Drum brake for 16" wheels

Mount the lever for the assistant maneuvered drum brake A on
the push handle and attach the screws B.
The distance between the handle and the lever for the
assistant maneuvered drum brake must be 10 — 15 mm
C.

Mount the screw for the attachment washer D in the wheel with
drum brake. Mount the attachment washer and the socket E on
the rear wheel axle F.
3.
Mount the rear wheel axle F in the attachment G on the frame.
Attach the nuts H and the screw I.

Mount the wire hook from the brake handle in the wire holder
J. Mount the wire in the attachment washer K and place the
wire in the lower notch on the brake L.
WARNING!
Risk of injury
Poor brake effect
– Check the brake effect after mounting or adjusting the
brake.
2.14.2 Drum brake for 22–24"

Mount the handle for the assistant maneuvered drum brake A
on the push handle and attach the screws B.
The distance between the handle and the handle for the
assistant maneuvered drum brake must be 10 — 15 mm
C.
2.
Mount the drum brake D, the attachment washer E and the
rear wheel axle F on the frame.
