Movies

Cannot record movies: The movie-record button can not be used to record
movies in best moment capture or Motion Snapshot mode (0 80, 90).
No sound is recorded for movies:
• Microphone off is selected for Movie sound options > Microphone
(0 180).
• Live audio is not recorded with time-lapse, slow-motion, fast-motion,
or jump-cut movies (0 49) or with Motion Snapshots recorded with
None selected for Audio (0 92).
Large focus areas are used in auto-area AF AF-area mode:
• 4K movies are recorded with AF-S selected for focus mode
• Motion Snapshots are recorded with electronic vibration reduction
enabled
• HD movies are recorded in advanced movie mode with electronic
vibration reduction enabled and AF-S selected for focus mode

Tap Shooting Options

The touch screen can not be used for shooting or focus:
• Touch shooting options are not available in best moment capture or
Motion Snapshot mode.
• The edges of the display can not be used for shooting or focus. Tap
closer to the center of the display.
Pictures are blurred: The camera may move when the display is tapped,
which may under some conditions result in blurred pictures. Use both
hands to hold the camera steady.

Playback

NEF (RAW) images are not displayed: The camera displays only the JPEG copies
of NEF (RAW) + JPEG fine images (0 164).
"Tall" (portrait) orientation photos are displayed in "wide" (landscape) orientation:
• Select On for Rotate tall (0 152).
• The photos were taken with Auto image rotation off (0 200).
• Camera was pointed up or down when the photo was taken (0 200).
• Photo is displayed in image review (0 152).
