Manual Focus

Manual focus can be used when autofocus does not produce the
desired results.
1 Select manual focus.
Highlight Manual focus in the focus
mode menu (0 184) and press 2.
Display the manual focus guides.

In the shooting display, press J to dis-
play manual focus guides and magnify
the view at the center of the frame.
This feature is not available during
movie recording or in 4K or slow-
motion movie mode.
3 Choose a magnification.

Rotate the command dial to choose
from magnifications of up to about
10×.
