7 Adjustments
7.1 Backrest
The backrest can be folded at the middle by means of a locking mechanism and can be operated by either the
user or an attendant.
To fold the backrest of the wheelchair, stand behind and simultaneously raise the plunger knobs situated at
each side of the backrest frame (see below). With the plunger knobs fully up, the backrest can be folded
down. To raise the backrest, simply lift until it is upright and ensure that the plunger knobs are pushed down
positively into the locked position.
CAUTION - Ensure that both backrest locking mechanisms are located correctly before using your
wheelchair.
