3. Move the cap forward and
press to snap the cap in place.
4. Release the door handle.
Inside the Vehicle
Push down on the door lock knob to
lock the door manually. Pull once on
the door handle to unlock the door
and again to open the door.
Press the power door lock switch to
lock or unlock all doors
automatically. See Power Door
Locks 0 39.

Power Door Locks

(Lock) : Press to lock the doors.
(Unlock) : Press to unlock the
doors.

Delayed Locking

This feature is activated through
vehicle personalization. See Vehicle
Personalization 0 138.
When delayed locking is active and
is pressed on the door lock
switch while the door is open, a
chime will sound three times.
Keys, Doors, and Windows
When all the doors are closed, the
doors will lock automatically after
five seconds. If a door is reopened
before five seconds have elapsed,
the five-second timer will reset once
all the doors are closed again.
Press on the door lock switch
again or press on the RKE
transmitter to override this feature
and lock the doors immediately.

Automatic Door Locks

The doors will lock automatically
when all doors are closed, the
ignition is on, and the shift lever is
moved out of P (Park).
To unlock the doors:
Press on a door.
Shift the transmission into
P (Park).
Automatic door unlocking can be
programmed through the Driver
Information Center (DIC). See
Vehicle Personalization 0 138.
