Ultra HD Normal
This setting will show the whole Ultra HD
picture (4096 pixels x 2160 pixels) with the same
proportions as the original image.The picture will
be shown with 15/16 scaling. This option is only
available when watching a Ultra HD video or picture
via HDMI terminal.
Ultra HD Wide
This setting will show the Ultra HD picture (4096
pixels x 2160 pixels) in its original size. This option
is only available when watching a Ultra HD video or
picture via HDMI terminal.
NOTE:
• Using the special functions to change the size of
the displayed image (e.g. changing the height/
width ratio) for the purpose of public display or
commercial gain may infringe on copyright laws.
• If the aspect ratio of the selected format is diff erent
from the one of the TV transmission or video
programme, it can cause a diff erence in vision.
Change to the correct aspect ratio picture size.
• When using the PC connected via HDMI or RGB/
PC terminal, the moving image quality may be
deteriorated.
Using the picture still
• Press to freeze the picture.
Even if an image is frozen on the TV screen, the
pictures are running on the input source. Audio
continues to be output as well.
To return to a moving picture, press
( M ov ing )

Using the Intelligent Scene Optimiser
You can easily select the best picture and sound
mode for what you are watching.
• Sound is aff ected when the Sound Mode is set to
Auto (- page 29).

The Intelligent Scene Optimiser you select aff ects
the current input only. You can select a diff erent
Intelligent Scene Optimiser for each input.
Activating the Picture Mode
This TV off ers the choice of personalising the picture
style.
Intelligent AutoView, Dynamic, Standard and
Theater are preset options and aff ect many
features/settings within the TV.

Press .
The Intelligent Scene Optimiser window will
appear at the bottom of the screen.
Press  or to select the best mode for what
you are watching, and press OK.
• Auto mode automatically sets the best picture
and sound mode for what you are watching.
• The modes that can be selected diff er
according to the input and what you are
watching.
Press q to view the diff erent modes
available.
From the PICTURE menu, press  or  to
select Picture Settings and press OK.
