- Page 3 99-7319 2004-2006 KIA AMANTI Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove panel surround- ing shifter including cup holders. (Figure A) Remove (2) Phillips screws at base of panel surrounding radio and a/c controls. (Figure B) Unclip and remove panel surround- ing radio and a/c control.

- Page 5 99-7319 2004-2006 KIA AMANTI DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Attach the corresponding a/c control bracket to the factory a/c control using the factory hardware. (Figure A) Note: The radio housing must be installed first before the a/c control. Slide the DIN cage into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down.
- Page 6 99-7319 2004-2006 KIA AMANTI ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Attach the corresponding a/c control bracket to the factory a/c control using the factory hardware. (Figure A) Note: The radio housing must be installed first before the a/c control. Mount the ISO bracket to the head unit with screws supplied with the unit.
- Page 7 99-7319 FINAL ASSEMBL Y Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.) Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
