The flash was blocked

object.

This is due to ambient
lighting.
The white balance
setting is incorrect.

at close range.
This may happen when
trying to play back
images stored on a card
from a different digital
camera.
If a bright subject is shot
in the sequencial
shooting or video clip
shooting mode, vertical
stripes may appear on
the LCD monitor or in
the image.
Cause
Hold the digital camera
correctly, make sure the
flash is not obstructed.
Capture the image in the
range of operation of the
flash (2.1 m or less).
Use the forced flash
mode.
Use the exposure
correction function.
Adjust the ISO sensitivity
setting.
Select a different flash
mode.
Change the angle of the
digital camera.
Use the exposure
correction function.
Set the ISO sensitivity to
B.
Capture the image using
the forced flash mode.
Set the white balance
setting correctly.
Set the flicker reduction
setting.
Hold the digital camera
correctly, make sure the
lens is not obstructed.
When capturing an image
at close range, use the
close-up alignment
correction marks or
compose the image using
the LCD monitor.
Playback images stored
on a card using this
