O LIMITERS
UTPUT
The Dx46's output channel limiters prevent audio signals from exceeding a set level. Press the Level but-
ton to change the output channel. Hold-down the Level button for some seconds - you will then be pre-
sented with the Limiter screen.
LIMITERS
Use the < SELECT> buttons to navigate between Active/Bypass, Type, Threshold (-9.0 dBu to +21.0 dBu), Attack
(0 ms to 50 ms) and Release (10.0 ms to 1000.0 ms). Adjust the values of each parameter using the up/ down VAL-
UE arrows. The parameter Type allows selecting the used loudspeaker type. By selecting the type Sub, Lo, Mid or
Hi the settings of the parameters Attack and Release are adjusted automatically. Select the type User for setting the
parameters Attack and Release manually. The value of the parameter Threshold depends on the used speakers and
the input sensitivity / gain of the used amplifiers.
TEMP Limiter
Additionally to the Peak-Limiter for the outputs there is a TEMP limiter available for each output. Parameters for the
TEMP limiter are included in speaker settings files (.sps) and can be loaded to the device using the IRIS-Net control
software.
