Connection on the heating side with return temperature limit

The return temperature limiting facility only needs to be installed if
required by the relevant district heating plant.
To ensure that the heating water return temperature cannot exceed a
specified value, use a return temperature limiter with control valve
(e.g. as offered by Samson, type 43-1, control range 25 to 70 ºC).
For individual cylinders and cylinder banks, install the sensor as shown
in the relevant diagrams. The customer is responsible for installing the
necessary pipework.

The control valve is sized according to the required heating water flow
rate and the system pressure drop.

When return temperatures are restricted, a check must be carried out
to determine whether the hygiene requirements in accordance with
TRWI/DVGW are met. A transfer pump may have to be provided.
