5.3 Error Message List
Message
The [##] format cannot be used with event
recording ([**]) settings. Do you want to
stop the recording and change the format
to [##]?

Enter a number in one-byte character in
Recording Capacity Limit.
Enter Recording Capacity Limit.
Set the Capacity Limit in the range of 1GB
to **GB.
Note: The maximum value changes
according to the recording capacity setting
of other cameras.
Limit the recording capacity is set on the
preferences page. Do you want to disable
this setting and enable the Limit the
recording capacity setting for each
camera?
Event Recording
The [**] format does not support event
recording ([##]). Do you want to change
the format to JPEG?

Cause and Remedy
You cannot set event detection recording (Motion
Detection, Alarm Detection, etc.) when the data format is
MPEG-4/H.264.
Select [OK] to change to MPEG-4/H.264, select
[Cancel] to not change.
When registering a camera that does not support
1280x1024 resolution.
The resolution is changed to "320x240". Select a
suitable resolution.
The selected camera does not support MPEG-4/H.264 data
formats.
Changes the data format to JPEG.
When the recording capacity limit is not in English one-byte
characters.
Enter a number in one-byte character in Recording
Capacity Limit.
The Recording Capacity space was blank.
Enter Recording Capacity Limit.
Recording Capacity for individual cameras is larger than
90% of the drive capacity minus the capacity set for other
cameras.
Enter a recording capacity value within the range of
between over 1 GB and 90% of the drive capacity minus
the capacity set for other cameras.
Preferences settings and the [Limit the recording capacity]
for each camera cannot be set up at the same time.
Disable the [Limit the recording capacity] on the
Preferences page and click [OK] to see the [Limit the
recording capacity] for each camera.
You cannot set event recording (Motion Detection, Alarm
Detection, etc.) when the data format is MPEG-4/H.264.
Select [OK] to change the data format to JPEG.
