Managing calls

To make a call from Contacts:
Type the initials of a person you want to dial,
highlight the number, and press Send.
To create a speed-dial favorite:
From the Phone application's Main View,
highlight and select a blank speed-dial button,
select Lookup, and then enter the contact's phone
number. To add extra digits, such as an extension
or password, select More.
To put a call on Speakerphone
Select Spkr-phone using the 5-way or the touchscreen.
To silence all sounds, including music:
Set the Ringer switch to Sound Off.
To adjust the volume while a call is in progress:
Press the Volume button on the side of your smartphone.
To ignore an incoming call and send it to voicemail:
Press Power/End.
To respond with a text message when you can't
take a call:
Select Ignore with Text on the touchscreen.
To redial the last number:
Press and hold Send in the Phone application's Main View.
Did you know?
You can disable the touchscreen while you are on a call so you don't disrupt
your call by inadvertently touching the screen. Press Applications, select
Preferences, and then select Keyguard. Check the On a call box.
