Repair instructions
7.5 Dismantling the handle frame and
vibration system from volute
Remove the engine cover. Remove the air filter.
See Dismantling and assembling the Air filter
Disconnect the throttle cable from the lever arm
(B) on the carburettor and from the guide in the air
filter (A).
Disconnect the cables from ignition module.
Remove the left-half of handle
Remove the rubber cap (C). Loosen the 4 screws
(D) and carefully remove the left-half of handle.
Remove the handle frame
Loosen the 4 screws on the handle frame. Remove
the handle frame from the volute cover.
NOTE!
The springs on the handle frame are
screwed to the thread on the frame di-
rectly. The springs are of three types and
the diameters and the coiled directions are
different.
1: Left-handed thread.
2 and 3: Right-handed thread.
The end of the spring should make contact
with the stopper on the frame.
