Safety equipment

6.1 Dismantling the muffler

Remove the cover of the muffler.
Dismantle the two screws to the muffler.
Also remove the gasket.

6.2 Assembling the muffler

Check the muffler;
if you find any deformation or cracks,
replace the muffler.
If the muffler is fitted with a spark arrestor
mesh, put it in place first. Make sure the
mesh is in the correct position.
Before assembly the muffler remove
carbon gently with a screwdriver.
Fit the gasket and the muffler Tighten the
screws. Torque 7~9 Nm.
