Removing and installing panels

The panels shown need to be
removed to perform some of the
maintenance jobs described in this
chapter. Refer to this section each
time a panel needs to be removed and
installed.

To remove the panel
1. Remove the bolt, washer and
quick fasteners.

TIP
The quick fasteners are removed by
pushing in the center pin and then
pulling the fastener out.

2. Pull the panel off as shown.

To install the panel
1. Place the panel in the original
position.

Install the washer, bolt and quick
fasteners.
TIP
The quick fasteners are installed by
pushing out the center pin, inserting
the fastener into the panel, and then
by pushing the center pin flush with
the fastener head.
