2.6.4 Enclosure

Install the equipment in a metal housing or equivalent. When installing a flush mount control
unit, make sure that all fastening screws make good electrical contact with the door or panel
where the unit is mounted.
System wiring external to the enclosure must be routed in metal conduit or equivalent shielded
cables must be used. For best results, use cables with double screen and connect the outer
shield to the enclosure at entry and the inner shields to TE near equipment.
Use ferrite rings with suitable permittivity, such as supplied by manufacturer, for external
signal cables with shields wired to TE to reduce common mode interference and load to TE.

2.6.5 Power supply

Use a 24V power supply delivered by your ARLACON distributor. To comply with EN50081-2
requirements use a twisted pair of wire to feed the control unit and install the ferrite ring
supplied with the unit according to fig. 2.6.5.1
