Front Wheel Installation
Follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
• Insert the axle from the right side, through the wheel
hub and fork legs.
• Make sure that the lug (8) on the left fork leg is
fitted into the brake panel.
• Install the axle nut and tighten it to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 44 N.m (4.4 kgf.m; 32 lbf.ft)
• Adjust the front brake (page 17).
• After installing the wheel, apply the front brake
several times and check if the wheel rotates freely
after releasing the lever. Recheck the wheel if the
brake drags or if the wheel does not rotate freely.

WARNING
If a torque wrench is not used for installation, see
your authorized Honda dealer as soon as possible to
check for proper assembly. Improper assembly may
lead to loss of braking effectiveness.

(8) Lug
Rear Wheel Removal
1. Raise the rear wheel off the ground by placing a
support block under the engine.
2. Remove the rear brake adjusting nut (1).
3. Disconnect the brake rod (2) from the brake arm (3)
by pushing down on the rear brake pedal.
4. Loosen the drive chain lock nuts (5) and adjusting
nuts (6).
