Open the back cover. Remove the ink film (3).

Clean the thermal head (4) with a cloth moistened
with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and let it dry
thoroughly.
Caution:
L To prevent a malfunction due to static
electricity, do not use a dry cloth and do not
touch the thermal head directly.

Re-install the ink film and close the covers (see step
4 to 7 on page 10).

Insert the recording paper gently (page 12).

Connect the power cord and the telephone line cord.
