The Mobile Phone is not W@P able
Registration problem (W@P & data/fax options should be needed depending on the operator)
A bad configuration (wrong W@P parameters)
So that's why to solve W@P problems the following process must be observed.
Ensure about the W@P capability of the mobile phone.
Interrogate the customer regarding his operator registration.
Check with the customer that all the needed parameters are stored in the phone memory
Perform a functional and a radio test of the mobile phone.
The W@P Test procedure needs to be performed only if the customer complains about W@P applications.

Functional and radio test
Before starting the W@P procedure it must be assumed that the functional test and the radio test have been done
successfully.

W@P Menu explanation (to be checked using the Operator Simcard)
When you launch Wap functions, you see this screen.
1.Home page parameter (URL):
This parameter is a string of characters (ASCII) used to identify the protocol (eg: HTTP), the location of the
server
(eg:
WAP.Philips.com),
(eg:/glossair/glossair.htm).The end user can use the operator's home page or set up another one in the mobile
phone. The URL can be set as follows:
The Homepage is the link to the first WAP site you will access when launching WAP from the idle screen. In
most cases, this menu item of the WAP services menu is preconfigured and will connect directly to your
operator's WAP homepage.
You can change this default homepage by specifying the name and URL address of another homepage, which will
then replace the current one
2.Enter Address:
The mobile has a deficient Radio part.
( a quick test has to be performed to check memory reliability)
