The E-mail feature is an application on the mobile, which allows the user to consult, delete his/her
emails ending on the e-mail server, and also to send an e-mail to one or various addresses.
This is an "offline" mail processing, it means that the e-mails are received on a server, and the user
has to connect his mobile to the server in order to download the pending mails (there's no "automatic
warning" to inform the user that there are mails on the server).

Bluetooth
"Bluetooth" is a new technology aiming to bypass the traditional cable connection between
consumer electronic products. It uses tiny Short range Bluetooth radio modules embedded in each device
to ensure voice and/or data communications on a high-speed and secured radio link.
Bluetooth gives the customer a new way to transfer data, communicate and interact with other
party Bluetooth compatible devices through any physical obstacles.
The Handset also offers the possibility to use new accessories like Wireless Headset.
For particular customers, the Handset associated with Bluetooth compatible other party devices will be the
best way to replace all traditional wired connection between his handset and accessories, in such a way
that is degree of freedom is significantly enhanced.

SMS/EMS
The Messages menu allows you to read, write, send and receive SMS messages and to share
them with other mobile phones. The message can be sent to one or many users or also be saved to send it
later. It is also possible to attach sound (imy format) and image (animation and BMP) to the message

MMS
Your mobile phone allows you to send and receive MMS (multimedia messages), featuring texts,
pictures and sounds. A multimedia message can be made of one slide (including text, sound and image), or
of several: in this case, the message is played in a slide show, whether you send it to an e-mail address or to

Java
Philips XENIUM 9@9w-Philips W&S implements JAVA, which allows user to run JAVA compatible
applications. Java allows user to display a list of applications, games and services, and to select the most
interesting. The application is then sent by radio connection towards user's Mobile, where it is installed
and immediately usable. Java application can be downloaded using WAP features, Bluetooth.

MP3/Audio recorder
Philips XENIUM 9@9w-Philips W&S integrates audio player and audio recorder, which allows end
user to play the audio files, such as music in MP3 format. In addition, it also integrates audio recorder,
which allows end user to make audio recording, as a result, this audio record can be played in format of
"AMR".

Video player /Video recorder
Philips XENIUM 9@9w-Philips W&S integrates video player, which allows end user to play the
video file, such as movie in MP4 format. In addition, it also integrates video recorder, which allows end user
to make video recording, as a result, this video record can be played in format of "3gp".

Memory card
Philips XENIUM 9@9w-Philips W&S supports external memory card (T-flash up to 1GB). End user
