Before Setting Oven Controls
Oven
Vent Location
The oven vent is located
under the left side of the control
panel.
When
the oven is on, warm
air passes through
this vent. This
venting
is necessary
for proper
air circulation
in the oven and
good
baking
results. Do not block
oven vent. Steam
or moisture
may appear
near the oven vent; this is normal.

Oven
Rack Descriptions
Flat oven racks (or the flat
handle
oven rack)
may be used
for most cooking
needs and may be placed
in most oven
rack positions.
The offset
oven rack (some models)
provides
additional
stepdown
positions
from
the standard
flat
rack design.
The
offset
design
positions
the base of the rack about
1/2 of a
rack position
lower than the flat
rack and may be used in
most oven rack positions.
To maximize
oven cooking
space,
place the bottom
oven
rack (some models)
in the lowest rack position
for baking
or
roasting
large
cuts of meat.
