• Beforereplacinga burned-outlightbulb,unplug
the refrigerator or turn off powerat the circuit
breakeror fuse box in orderto avoidcontactwith a
livewire filament.(A burned-outlightbulb may
breakwhen beingreplaced.)

• Whenyou arefinished,reconnectthe refrigerator to
the electricalsourceand resetthe controls

still cold--below 4°C.
...Thawedgroundmeats,poultryor fish that have
any off-odoror off-colorshouldnot be refrozenand
shouldnot be eaten.Thawedicecreamshouldbe
discarded.If the odoror colorof anyfood is poor
or questionable, d isposeof it. The food may be
dangerousto eat.
Evenpartialthawingandrefreezingreducesthe
eatingqualityof foods, particularlyfruits,
vegetablesandpreparedfoods.The eatingquality
of red meatsis affectedlessthanthat of many
otherfoods. Use refrozenfoods as soonas
possibleto saveas muchof their qualityas you
can.
