Saving Energy, CoidWash TM
Adding the ColdWash TMoption reduces energy usage and
provides the same washing performance as a warm water
wash.
By using six different washing motions (TumMing, Rolling,
Stepping, Scrubbing, Swinging, and Filtration), fabrics get the
cleaning benefits, without the energy usage
1 Press (!!@_1 and turn (_ to select the desired cycb.

Press k_o. The washer will automatically adjust the cycle
settings,
3 Set any other desired options.

Press and hold for 3 seconds during the wash
cycle,
When the Child Lock is enabled, a _-_ message and the
remaining wash time are displayed, in turn, on the display
panel of the washing machine.

Press and hold __t_s._ for 3 seconds during the wash
cycle.
Turning On/Off Melody and Buffon Tones,
Signal On/Off
The washing machine plays a melody when the wash cycle
is finished The buttons make a sound each time a button is
pressed. You can turn the melody and button tones on and
off with the Signal function
Detecting weight of load, LOAD SIZE
Loading the washing machine and pressing the start button
triggers the machine to detect the weight of the load, and
displays the load size icon _' on the display panel for 10
seconds. If the load size icon is not on, you can check the
weight of the load again during the cycle. This feature
will help you set the detergent amount so as to wash clothes
efficiently based on the detected load size.

Setting Options During Cycle
You can add the following options dudng the wash cycle.
Button Lock Feature, Child Lock
Use this option to disaMe the controls and prevent children or
others from changing cycles or operating the machine. It can
also be useful for cleaning the button and control panel area
Once the Child Lock has been set, it must be deactivated
before any controls, except the POWER button, can be used.
NOTE
* If the washer has detected a smali load size, the dispiay
may only show one iighted bar, Only a sinai] amount
of detergent should be used, because the amount of
clothing and the quantity of water that wiii be used is

• The load detection routine only works with dry clothes.
Since the detection system is detecting the WEIGHT of
the load, it will be affected by unusually heavy articles
in the Ioa& For example, a garment that is already wet
that is loaded with other items will cause the LOAD
SIZE reading to be inaccurate.
