Machine Assembly

WARNING
To prevent serious injury, proper assembly of the
KJ-3000 Jetter is required. The following proce-
dures should be followed:
NOTE! The KJ-3000 Jetter is packaged in two boxes
and requires some minor assembly. Remove
contents from both boxes.
Handle Assembly
1. Insert the handle through the two holes in the rear
cross bar of the unit (Figure 1).
2. Insert one hair pin in the bottom of each vertical bar to
insure that the handle will not come out.
3. Screw the two "T" knobs into the threaded holes in the
rear cross bar. Adjust the handle to the desired posi-
tion and tighten knobs to secure the handle.

Hose Reel Assembly
1. Insert the crank handle into the hose reel. Align the
holes and secure handle in place with hair pin.
2. Insert the hose reel base into the hose reel guide
bracket on main unit.
3. Rotate the hose reel backwards and set into place
over the rear guide pegs. (Figure 3)
4. Secure hose reel with rear latch.
5. Connect the hose reel's connection hose to the jetter's
quick coupling (Figure 2).
6. Screw the nozzles onto the storage mounts located
on the side of the hose reel.

Wash Wand Assembly
1. Screw the trigger gun onto the end of the wash
wand. Use thread sealant to prevent leaks.
2. Tighten securely.
Battery (Electric Start Model Only):
Battery contains sulfuric acid. Avoid con-

tact with eyes and skin.
1. The KJ-3000-E does not include the battery. Use a
12V garden tractor battery with an ampere-hour rat-
ing of at least 18 AH.
2. Place the battery on the battery mounting plate and
install the two threaded rods using nuts provided.
The tops of the rods should be about an inch above
the top of the battery.
NOTE! For each rod, there should be one nut on each
side of the battery mounting plate.
3. Install the battery strap over the threaded rods and on
top of the battery using the flat washers and hex nut
provided.
