Applying a Fade to Output Video

This applies a fade to output video.
1.
Use the [MENU] button g "TRANSITION" g "TIME" to set
the fade time (0.0 to 10.0 sec).
If you want to change to a monochrome picture instantly, set "0.0
sec" as the value.
* The "TIME" setting is shared with the length of time for which
video transitions (p. 19) are applied.

Press the [OFF] button for the video output channel
where you want the fade-out to occur.

The video fades out over the time interval you set in step 1.
The [OFF] button flashes while the fade takes place. When the fade-
out has been completed, the [OFF] button stops flashing and stays
lighted.
3.
To perform a fade-in, press the [OFF] button a second
time.
The [OFF] button flashes and video output starts.
When the fade-in has been completed, the [OFF] button goes dark.

5 You can change the fade color. Use the [MENU] button g "OFF
SWITCH" g "RED, " "GREEN, " or "BLUE" to adjust the color. The
setting for fade color is shared with video transitions (p. 19).
5 By default, the system is set up so that audio also fades out or in
as a video fade-out or fade-in occurs.
To decouple the audio from this, select the [MENU] button g
"OFF SWITCH" g "AUDIO FOLLOW, " and set it to "OFF. "
