Explanation and Action
"SOFT FRZ", "FRZ•L", and "FRZ•M" are higher
temperature settings. Set to "FRZ•H".
When placing hot food in the compartment, use
Hot freezing.
Cancel Power Save Mode.
Frozen food may thaw if it makes contact with hot food.
Leave space.
Leave a gap so that cold air can fl ow to the ceiling and
between food.
The refrigerator takes time to cool completely.
Foods containing a considerable amount of moisture may
freeze too hard. We recommend leaving the food for about 5
to 15 minutes, placing the other hand on the back of a knife,
and cutting the food by pushing on it. Also, use the setting
"SOFT FRZ•L".
Food appears to freeze in the same way as with "Freezing".
It takes 4 to 5 hours for the refrigerator to cool, and
24 hours or more in summer to make ice.
Remove food or other objects from the ice storage box. The
ice storage box is judged to be full of ice. Also, spread the
ice out fl at all the way to the front.
Set the ice making compartment's setting to
Set the ice tray lock lever to the correct position and check
the installation status of the ice tray.
Remove any foreign objects creating gaps and install the
pipe so that it is not loose.
Check that they are correctly installed. In particular, ensure
that the opening of the tank pipe inside the tank is installed
fi rmly to the tank.
Cancel Power Save Mode.
Check the installation around the water tank. If there are
gaps, the cold air may escape and water may freeze.
Ice stored inside the ice storage box for a long time may
shrink or join together (due to a phenomenon called
sublimation).
When not using ice, it is recommended that you remove the
water and stop the ice making.
Cancel Power Save Mode.
