Before using this appliance for the first time, please read this instruction booklet carefully and keep it for future reference. Pass it on if you pass on the appliance.

    TOUCH CONTROLS • Don’t press, just touch them! • In some cases, it may detect your finger before it actually touches. SLEEP MODE • If the toaster is inactive, and you don’t touch the controls for 5 minutes, the lights will go out to save electricity.
  • Page 5 EjECT • To stop the toaster mid-cycle, touch • light will glow, the toast will pop up, then the light will go out. ExTRA LIFT • After toasting small items (bagels, crumpets, etc.) the lever may be raised further, to allow them to be removed more easily.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Unplug the toaster from the electrical outlet and let it cool down fully before attempting any cleaning operation or storing away. • Wipe the outer surfaces with a soft damp cloth. If necessary, use a little mild liquid soap (dish washing detergent).
