Before Accessing TN70J-E3250 Firmware The host (or server side) must have a 12G/6Gbps HBA card for connection with TN70J-E3250. The driver of HBA cards needs to be installed on operating system to allow HBA card to work with TN70J-E3250. In addition, user is advised to install management tool which is released by HBA providers and install it on the operating system in order to access the element status.

4.2.2 HDDs Spin-up Avago SAS3x24 is selected as the main part in TN70J-E3250 storage controller board. There is a featured called spin-up control to avoid power shutting down. The setting is capable of enabling 4 HDDs simultaneously then delaying 8 seconds.
SES firmware also provides smart fan speed control that can control the fan speed by the given status accordingly. In TN70J-E3250 storage system, there are 2 (in standard shipment) +2 (as optional fan) system fans for the temperature control. Fan speed is automatically set to adjust according to current temperature value.

Front Panel Warning LED Indication The Warning LED will alert users by becoming "ORANGE" when conditions mentioned in 4.2.1 part 2 arise. The TN70J-E3250 will feedback message log to server end and users are suggested to use Avago MSM Utility to determine which elements status has changed to alerting condition.
