Clean the tool holder and all parts to be mounted.
When using the rubber sanding pad 9, remove
the protection guard 6 if required by the applica-
tion.
– Place the grinding disc onto the centring col-
lar 11. Rotate the grinding disc until the
notches of the grinding disc coincide with the
cams 12 of the centring collar 11. The grinding
disc drops into the tool holder.

– Rotate the grinding disc in clockwise direction
applying pressure, until the grinding disc can
be heard to engage ("click").

The grinding disc is
clamped correctly
when the 3 locking
fixtures 13 and the
3 cams 12 project
over the steel sheet
hub of the disc. The
grinding disc must be
free to turn.

Disassembly
– Press the SDS-pro release button 14 and
hold. At the same time, rotate the grinding disc
in counter-clockwise direction.
– Let go of the SDS-pro release button 14 and
remove the grinding disc.

Initial Operation
Inserting the Battery
Use only original Bosch O-pack batteries with
the voltage given on the type plate of your ma-
chine.
Before inserting the battery and for a tool
change, always switch the On/Off switch to
the Off position. Remove the battery for trans-
portation and storage.
Insert the charged battery 1 into the grip until it
engages noticeably.

Switching On and Off

To start the machine, press the On/Off switch 3
forward.
To lock-on, press the On/Off switch 3 down at
the front until it engages.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off
switch 3 or press the rear tip of it down.
